@l1ghtsword They feel more like a desynchronise error between that one service I keep forgetting the name of that is supposed to keep you online even if you go offline.

@critialcloudkicker Cloudflare. And yeah thats basically what it is.
Your connection to cloudflare may be unstable.
And that doesn't mean your isp, somewhere along the many hops your connection takes to get where its gotta go. -
@l1ghtsword Soo... Technically I could get a VPN in America or something and change ALL the hops ? I've been planning to but keep putting it off since "it can wait"

Though that's just a theory. As you know in the world of computers much can go wrong. -
@critialcloudkicker But the fun fact about a vpn tunnel is while the info is encrypted, it can still bounce all over the place until it makes it to the vpn server and then again to connect to cloudflare.
Thre is no garantee the pathing will be better, just your data will be safer -

@critialcloudkicker I personally have no need for a vpn tunnel at this time.
I ran a vpn server using openVPN on a BSD system at home so i could do some online banking from a coffee shop or something without the potential man in the middle risk. -
@l1ghtsword For some reason I do not think my data will be much safer due to the first law of protection. "anonimity deflects more bullets than kevlar". And I am darn sure that noone besides maybe govnerment agencies who spend a dazzling dizzyfying amount of cash on it anyway knows wants either me or my computer. Not to mention that other stuff I just mentioned about whoselineisitanyway.
Except maybe Matt... He could be plotting my demise for all I know. -
@critialcloudkicker You would be suprised, while MD5 is no longer a safe encryption (the code has been solved) SHA256 with a RSA key of 2048 bits or higher is damn near impossible to crack even for a super computer.
The only way to do it would be to steal the key or obtain access by effecting the connection on either side. -
@l1ghtsword Whoop... Time to build some sort of personal spare-time program build on SHA256 ( or SHA512 if i feel endeaverous... that does exist right ? ) to connect to my private connection through my workspace computer like a piggybackride to the internet so I can... without them knowing about... ... wait... I think I just re-invented the VPN service...

@l1ghtsword Still, yeah, I can probably save myself some headache with a proper VPN with at least a few different options to the question "where do you want to internet from today" ... Germany and the USA and Canada and Belgium and preferably Australia
