  1. @maiyannah i changed it to social justice on .se now, with hopes of scaring off the anti-SJW crowd

    1. @hannes2peer I used to understand "SJW" as people who fight usage of "he" for a gender-unidentified random person, who "defend feelings" of religious people (there's a law for that in Russian Federation), and so on. I then realised my definition of social justice was substituted in English by this sometimes even malicious fight with windmills.

      1. @hannes2peer By "my definition" of social justice I meant equal opportunities for everyone: you know, free education for all, no nationalism, no sexism, all the "marxist crap". Freedom of religion – not so much, I don't care about who believes what (it's good to have variety anyway) but religion institutions I'd like to see criminalised: all of them, not only those outside the whitelist.

        1. @xrevan86 "sjw" seems to be a term primarily used by fascists and crypto nazis. i think we should avoid using it in their definition

          1. @xrevan86 i don't want to criminalize religious organisations. personally i'm not interested in religion but liberation theology is cool!

            1. @hannes2peer My issue with them is that those organisations have a lot of power over people's minds, mostly even without anything educational to say. And churches are usually (I'm putting "usually" here but can't think of a counterexample) send a message that current government is good, very good.

          2. @hannes2peer When properly used, it's to describe people who have a fascist enforcing of things that'd be otherwise good, and in turn make serious topics be disregarded by others. For example those teenagers that call any sexual act rape, thus making it harder for actual rape victims to be taken seriously.
