    I think I'm going to go with "The Desolation" or "The Smog" or something. Definite articles make everything sound more menacing. :V

      @binary I like proper names, gives it a special (in/famous) sound to it, like it had to be given its own name due to it being so infamous/famous. 'The _____' makes it sound sort of like the recursion of something old, maybe forgotten.
