Glorious, another problem solved. Now all I need to figure out is where, in this huge, depressing, steampunky, corrupted world, would an aging Pinkie Pie be hanging out? I have all of the other characters sorted out completely. Pinkie is quite possibly the antithesis of the entire idea of dark literature. CURSE YOU PINKIE PIE

@binary Pinkie Pie is the narrator. She broke the fourth wall. AGAIN.

@starshine That is so glorious that I may very well use that. It's just like her to go off on some huge, rambling, winding story.

@binary If you count Pinkie Pie's copter in Gilda's episode, then I'd think she's something of a mad scientist. Well, maybe not mad, but not the most collected most likely. Honestly, I see her belonging in either an institution or some giddy scientist with a (possible) dark side, or just an evil employer.

@ickus Er, or belonging in some Laboratory AS a giddy scientist.
-
@ickus Oh god, why did you have to say that. Now I can't NOT use the idea of an institutionalized Pinkie. But at the same time, I'm trying to keep this (rather far-fetched) alternate-future story within their personality types. Hrm. Then again, Pinkie IS insane. Bwah, I guess it DOES make sense :D

@binary I think I die a little inside every time I realize that I used a double negative

@binary That's a grammatically correct use of one, though, as opposed to the linguistic train-wrecks like "I don't never had no educations".

@binary Or she could be some giddy scientist. I imagine her being kind of like a sadistic scientist really. You know, enjoying cutting people up, laughing at devastation.. The whole deal.
-
@ickus That's true. Hmm.. There's also the idea that the entire "World is dark and crazy and there's no time to be lighthearted anymore" thing has driven her slowly insane. It works better from a timeline perspective, maybe. Both work, though. Hrm.

@binary I like that idea, and there's always the option that the world has twisted her view of 'lightheartedness' and 'fun' into some corrupt version of what it once was.
-
@ickus Now there's a good idea as well. So many good ideas, it's hard to choose. Hmm
