@nepbatcave @zemichi @zemichi @toddkincannon @jimrusell @sim @pennyfortheguy I believe the Quitters to be more a false advertisement at best. Initially promoted as the free-wheeling, willy-nilly alternative to twitter, only to become almost worse than twitter. It didn't take but a few weeks either! I had a feeling I was right, not putting all my eggs into one basket by signing up for a single instance. I'm looking at YOU Quitter.se

@amish we never promoted .se, and especially not like that. you guys just failed read the tou, which has been the same for ages

@hannes2peer @amish So if I was to say to you, why not try to just lighten the Potato Knishes up. SRSLY! The majority of us here are adults, and I am of the opinion that we can certainly differentiate between the gold and the dross. Why not throw this sort of thing open to honest debate, and give people the chance to put it all to a vote. It's the more fairer and democratic path.

... .@hannes2peer I probably would have initially signed up on some other instance had I known .se hated being free-wheeling and willy-nilly all over the place. I have read many of these Terms of Use. It didn't seem to be so horrible to be honest. A place to be free of the Social Justice Squads and Shadow Bans on Twitter among recent things. Then within a very short time compared with twitter, it becomes a twitter junior. Does signing up now come with a free and deeply secure blanket? Can I have an extra safe bunker.quitter.se shipped to my home mailing address? The promotion was a safe place from such lunacy: No Security Blankets, No SJW's, Free Speech for ALL and all the other jazz that went into the promotions I ever saw. That is to say, pretty much ALL of the Quitter promotions: .SE
