  1. So aparently this Irex Illiad ebook I have right now has a 8.1 inch screen, a 400 MhZ processor, and is running linux ( kernel 2.4 ) ... As such, if the device is still alive after I eventually replace it ( or one of my familymembers wants it ) I should be able to turn it into something cool. Well, that is if I can ever get some screwdrivers to open the backplate and after that find something like serviceable components. If it boots off nothing but EEPROM and ROM I do not think I can do anything with it. Then again I never saw the insides of an ebook.

      1. @metaltao In the future I might take my computer(ebook) appart and do computer(software) stuff with it that go outside of the scope of the original intent of the computer(ebook) because it is running Linux. If possible that is, because it might run on EEPROM(magic black computer bricks) rather than something more serviceable that I can actually get my hands into.
