      @spots I'd highly recommend checking The End of Evangelion film sometime afterwards as well. It's an alternate take on the events of the final two episodes and (in my opinion) a much more thematically resonant conclusion to the series, though I do also quite like the original ending.

          @spots It's definitely worth watching after finishing Evangelion, it's a landmark film in animation.
