@tiffany The best thing you can do is just ignore it. If that is what they're doing then it's for attention, and not giving that to them will help them move on.

@narwhal yeah we're not really in contact currently anyway, even though there was seemingly no malice when we last saw each other

@tiffany I dunno if I'd say "time heals all wounds", but I think time is the best thing to remedy situations like these.

@narwhal I don't think much of it anyway since I feel like we barely knew each other enough for it to be more than a meagre crush (never mind the fact that I'm currently pining for a good friend of hers lol)

@tiffany Ugh yeah I know the feeling. I can never just sit myself down and work on stuff creatively the way I used to.

@narwhal my main problem personally is that I feel less inclined to write what I can already envision in my head. I need to have a writing party or something

@tiffany I think in my case it's kind of a mixture of creative blocks and simply not being able to sit myself down to work on stuff I want to work on. Also I fully embody the whole "you're your own worst critic" maxim to an exhausting fault. I've received lots of helpful constructive criticism from people, as well as a fair share of praise, but I think I still I lack a lot of confidence in my work and myself.

@tiffany I guess in my case because I've both engaged with lots of art and media as well as texts regarding the craft of criticizing said art and media I'm never really satisfied with any of my creative endeavours.
