@mmn @manuel I got it now. Only the image which is added in a blog post in Wordpress as "featured image" is displayed when inserted as a the link in #gnusocial.
This one worked https://social.bitcast.info/url/57796
But I don't understand why this is solved in this way. I never use "featured image" because this is very inflexible - you can't place and edit the picture. I am using the function to add a picture in the editor into the post.-
@hikerus Make wordpress act the way you prefer then. We present the featured image because that is what gets linked explicitly to represent the post. We don't crawl through the post looking for <img> tags.

@mmn Yes I see - but the og meta tags are there for other than feature image are in the header of the post. How can you distinguish between featured image and image in the post?
-
@hikerus Have you linked a relevant WordPress post yet that I can look at? Conversation view in Mustard isn't top notch.

@mmn Meta tags og are there https://social.bitcast.info/url/57831
-
@mmn This is an other one - og image meta tag is in the header of the post for the image in the blog text. https://social.bitcast.info/url/57844
-
@hikerus We prioritise oEmbed over OpenGraph and there is no image available there: https://social.umeahackerspace.se/url/69800
-
@mmn Please try with this one https://social.bitcast.info/url/57844 And I see all og meta tags in the header of the post. https://social.bitcast.info/url/57857

Yes, but as I said we prioritise oEmbed. Check the link I provided, which I got from this element: <link rel="alternate" type="application/json+oembed"
