Of course plain fighting isn't right, but one should learn to have self defence since not all situations will have a "responsible adult" to take care of things.-

@nerthos The school system here has really gotten dumbed down over the years. Probably not Common Core level but it's getting closer.

@maiyannah @archaeme My mother works as a high school teacher, and she gets exams turned in that are literally just a name, date and "exam" written on it.

@archaeme @nerthos A friend of mine who is a teacher in the states got disciplined for failing a student who used the wrong mathematical formulae in their exam, despite the fact that both their methodology and answer were pretty much completely wrong.

I was addressing the whole "you should do it this way" mentality math teachers tend to instill.-
