Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:20:25 UTC from web-
@chaosmagic Yeah, every now and then, my emotions just drop for some reason.
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:21:30 UTC from StatusNet iPhone-
@nvrrmbr same I guess. I fear tht I will live in this house forever ><
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:22:49 UTC from web-
@chaosmagic Aww, it'll be okay. :: e-hugs :: Being sad is hard but it never last forever.
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:23:44 UTC from web-

Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:25:35 UTC from web-

@chaosmagic I lived with my family until I was 22! You can learn to do tons on your own and you WANT to. That's how I know you can succeed. You want to be an adult and take care of yourself and be mature. You need to start with a job, from there you can move on and you'll see where you will go!
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:27:38 UTC from web-
@sprinkles I have a job but I hate it soo much ><
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:28:44 UTC from web-
@chaosmagic quit your job, find one that you like. Protip: if you wake up in the morning two out of five days not wanting to go to work, then you need a new job.
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:30:55 UTC from StatusNet iPhone-
@nvrrmbr that is like almost everyday though c: and its difficult getting a job nowadays especially with the education I have.

@chaosmagic !hug youll be free soon. I guarantee it.
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:26:11 UTC from StatusNet iPhone-
@nvrrmbr I hope so but how
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:26:47 UTC from web-
@chaosmagic At the risk of being corny, "Spread your wings and fly!". But, in a serious matter, go to college, get a high paying job, move into a low-rent apartment, live there until you can afford a house. That's just my 15 year old intuition there.
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:28:57 UTC from StatusNet iPhone-
@nvrrmbr "Get a high paying job" is much easier said than done. Better off getting a terrible job and sticking with it. Then it will either BECOME a high paying job, or at least look good on a resume.
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:30:37 UTC from web-
@starshine I agree. I did it backwards, I got the good job first and now I'm going to college. xP
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:31:46 UTC from web-
@sprinkles I did it ALL wrong. Went to college for a bit, got a lousy job, in and out of the military, and then back to college. On the upside, college is basically free now.
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:33:14 UTC from web-
@starshine College is free for me too since I work for the University. It's nice but it's hard since I have a full-time job and the college doesn't consider that sometimes. I'm like, "Uhh, some of your students WORK for a living!"

@starshine Im not allowed to work, due to age requirements, so I wouldnt know.
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:32:53 UTC from StatusNet iPhone-
@nvrrmbr Soon enough! I'd also suggest spending a couple months doing fast food, JUST for the experience of it. You learn a lot about people, and you can generally get free food. But it's a horrible job to try to keep; after you've been there a couple months try getting a "real" job somewhere instead.
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:34:19 UTC from web-
@starshine Thanks! I plan on working at a Starbucks due to my addiction to the smell of coffee.
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:35:22 UTC from StatusNet iPhone-
@nvrrmbr Doing retail you really have to grow thick skin. You need to learn the art of "not taking it personally." Good luck!
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:36:10 UTC from web-
@sprinkles I've learned that already. I've known that since... Third grade I believe.
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:37:38 UTC from StatusNet iPhone-
@nvrrmbr Haha. I was luckier than you then. >___>
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:38:04 UTC from web-
@sprinkles Yeah, I've had a rough history, with a year-long "break out into tears" phase during fifth grade.
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:39:18 UTC from StatusNet iPhone-
@nvrrmbr Wow, it didn't get THAT bad for me until 6th grade. Then I started making violent drawings. The pain still lingers but I'm a lot better, especially since MLP;FiM came into my life. :: sage nod ::
Thursday, 02-Jun-11 02:40:45 UTC from web-
@sprinkles I joined a group at my school called PALS, a group for depressed students, and had weekly meetings with the school counselor.

@sprinkles I think that's the most important thing I got out of burger flipping. Once you've cut that nerve you can do all sorts of stuff like tell employers to go stuff it when they ask you to work a double shift, or walk into a toy store and buy ponies.

@nvrrmbr That's not too bad of a place to work. It gets you the stupidity of human interaction without the disgustingness of dealing with the back-end of fast food.
