  1. I honestly despite people who treat friendship like it's nothing special. They're either surrounded by friendly faces all the time and simply take it for granted; or they're so absorbed in either themselves or whatever they're doing (workaholism, for example) that they don't notice it.

    1. People who think the Internet is a substitute for friendship have no mangoing clue. They don't realize the value of shared experiences in person.

      I used to be one of those people when I was a teenager.  I was an idiot.

      1. @takebananaakenji@loadaverage.org Yeah. Hyper, mediated connections are a great way of removing the time and space that friendship thrives on.

        Although teenagers are usually much better at mixing online/offline comms than others. Which still doesn't mean they're any good at it...
