                  @omni about Linux? I'm sorry :( *hugs*. Before I fall asleep, which is more for basic and simple tasks? Arch or the other?

                     @renovatedkitchen In general, really. Both Ubuntu and Arch can do everything, really. Ubuntu just has more stuff pre-installed than Arch, so your system has more stuff on it that you may not use. For Gentoo, it is a heaven for people that love to have utter and absolute control over their system and a hell for everyone else.

                              @omni If all fails, I still have windows on the PC. With google anything is possible. One of my uncles is really into Linux as well. He's the one who was telling me about red hat

                                 @renovatedkitchen Gentoo is the kind of system that, if you have no clue what you're doing, will just overwrite your Windows installation. Really, if you want to try, I recommend trying it in a Virtual Machine first.
