     @critialcloudkicker any treaty that ties a country's hands when it comes to calling out a member state for atrocities. If Turkey wasn't in NATO we would have condemned Erdogan a long time ago.

     @rarity Oh yes, in that regard we ( Europeans ) have really mangoed up badly. However, this is the game we call Diplomacy. I am of firm belief that the tone of America would be very different towards muslims in it's entirety if it was not allied with the United Arab Emirates. ... Playing the blame game can be dangerous though.
