@lyrica She keeps me company yes, and in a way that my tulpa can't, but my tulpa helps with emotional needs I couldn't previously fill. Relationships are complicated after all, and i also don't want to overburden my wife sometimes.

@maroonshadow I'm Christian as well with strong conviction that it's only by His power that I can be saved. I was raised Buddhist until I converted at 11. I didn't learn about Tuplas until recently though. I'm 29 currently

@stonewing Tulpa is the Tibetan Buddhist equivalent of the pagan thought-form. "In as much as the mind creates the world of appearances, it can create any particular object desired. The process consists of giving palpable being to a visualization" #Wikipedia A tulpa is, in essence, a being (often a companion) created in one's own mind and made to appear or feel real to it's creator.
