@foxgopher I'm guessing you mean the mish? So there's definitely no going back then? In any case you live in CA where everypony doesn't ask you about it, and even if they do, you can still tell them where you served in all honesty so it's not really socially awkward at least.. I'm sorry it's got you feeling down. How long did you serve btw?

@foxgopher There's something I learned the hard way while dealing with my porn addiction. There's a difference between guilt and shame. people could shame me for doing what i did, but only if I let them. Guilt was there too when I knew I wasn't doing my best, but it was really the shame that hurt me. It never benefitted me once, unlike guilt which simply let me know I needed to improve. You're loved, no matter what. Shame contradicts that and is a lie.

@foxgopher boredom was part of it for me. It meant a lack of distraction from life. Video games only entertained me so long.
