  1. Watched The Road. I really liked it, pretty much on par with No Country for Old Men as far as an adaptation to McCarthy's books goes. They took a bit more creative license however in The Road which goes for the better in some aspects, as the book is quite oppressive. Definitely I recommend it if you're a fan of Cormac McCarthy or a fan of post-apocalyptia.

    1. @awl my opinion of the movie was always that it was as good as it could have bee . In that sense, it's like a perfect adaptation of the book. The creative license honestly felt necessary at a lot of points. The Road is not the type of book that would seamlessly and perfectly translate into a movie, so they had to work with it a bit.

      1. @razzleberry agreed, they did need more to take creative license in it than No Country for Old Men.
