@sim Well I mostly referring to how Axe Man has been harassing me for weeks now and I've never actually been angry or even slightly miffed at anything he's said, but Penny For the Guy's incredible depth of ignorance had me block him after 4 notices

It was a little odd to see him going on about that when you clearly untagged the others, and wanted to be left out there. I don't think you had a problem with him being opinionated on the subject, just didn't want to be included with axe man. I think you've asked me to untag before? At least, I've seen it before. While I'm not one to block or ask to be untagged, I do try to do the polite thing in doing so when others ask to be untagged regardless of how they ask it. I have one exception though, when people tell me to leave the conversation in a rude manner when they do that themselves in a one on one... ha.

@sim Well yeah that's pretty much what happened. I was attempting to have a conversation with him but he instantly jumped to the erroneous conclusion I was trying to "censor his free speech" or something. I did not want to be in that thread.

That isn't it. She asked you to either untag her or axe man because she didn't want her mentions filled with a conversation from someone(axe man) who she views as harassing her and that she had blocked. If you had blocked someone, would you appreciate seeing a conversation with them in your mentions, especially after you asked someone to untag them/you? Personally, I don't block or usually ask to be untagged, but I do try to do the polite thing. I don't think she started out rude until you made assumptions about it? She blocked after a small exchange where you assumed she stifled your free speech or something? -
@sim No. I did not "tag" her. Period. The conversations we had were "one on one"

Yeah, you deliberately untagged the others on one post I think. That was my general gist of the conversation from a glance. I'm not sure where you censored his speech because you asked to be excluded in a conversation with someone else. But either way, you have the right to not listen to what other people have to say, and to choose who you associate with. -

Hmm... all right. Well, that did come later, and it seems to begin with there was some mention about it. -
@sim The point being. That I did not tag her in any conversation. She joined the conversation of her own volition. It wasn't like I twisted her arm, or coerced her in any way.

Looking back at it, I think it could have been worded better on her part. Then you jumped to a conclusion on what she said when she only meant that she'd block you if you tagged her in the main thread that she didn't want to be a part of. She wanted to discuss it separately with you but you went off on a rant about free speech and blocking. Then it derailed from there. -
@sim Yes, well, I'm only human. And it did grape me off somewhat. It is like having somebody walk into your shop, and said somebody knocks over and smashes a very expensive vase, only to turn to you and say "it's your fault for putting it there in the first place" There is no pleasing some people. Anyway, kind of a moot point now, is it not?

Indeed. Hard to be polite when you feel appleed off which I think ended up applying to both sides. You're right, it's all said and done now.
