  1. As a firm believer in balance I'd say if you do something that causes a negative effect to yourself it would be incorrect but too many factors there too.

        1. @awl well, I would say that I think it is a positive action to act in kindness towards others, and to preserve peace. If people treat others positively, it will create a more stable, prosperous society, and that would benefit the individual. That is why I say individuals each acting in their OWN best interest would inevitably improve society. A successful culture free from theft and violence does not require objective morality, but on the surface it would be hard to tell.
