@pony I remember once in Alaska I was in the middle of a shower when someone burned a steak in the barracks on accident while cooking and the alarm went off. I was so bananased...thankfully it was in a warmer time of the year.

@foxgopher Well I'm actually at work. I'm the night watch at a boarding school for teen boys with Learning Disabilities and Asperger's. I live in BYU housing, though they say it's technically off-campus. Still, we use the university network which is often a pain

@foxgopher it doesn't allow torrent programs to connect. That's my main beef with it lately.. At least I have my work connection

@foxgopher yeah. Actually I head the honor code at BYUI was stricter until recently. Now it may still be, but I'm not sure

@foxgopher I heard that it used to expand on the dress code by prohibiting shorts and sandals. But I think they recently did away with that corrupt tradition
