@comradeconventrix Well, I don't know what @pony said, so I'm not gonna judge him based purely on second-hand commentary. But at least as far as I'm concerned, there's a line there which you just don't cross: Being attracted to children? Iff that's how you are, that's how you are. The idea makes me uncomfortable, but I'm not gonna hate someone for how they were born. However, acting on it, or talking about acting on it? That'd be a big no, even if it weren't illegal.

@comradeconventrix You've always been supportive and I appreciate it. I'm not the only pony on here like me or I'd actually take it a lot better. I'm not just standing up for myself, it's for others as well. At a certain point though, what I can do has its limit. I don't think Cerulean will change his mind any time soon.

@comradeconventrix @bitshift @Hakupony helped me realize that with controversial topics I should explain what I DON'T support if I'm going to advocate for something that might disturb some ponies. What I advocate is that there be no name calling or slurs (eg. molester) directed toward anypony simply because of their preferences. I DON'T support any illegal activity at all, nor do I advocate for art that encourages that behavior.

@pony I want you to know that I am not getting towards you with what I've chosen, the /idea/ is that if we can keep this off the timeline and kept between friends in a DM then I /hope/ that this site will settle down. For the past month everyone who comes here as a regular has been getting upity and tense about subjects or just flat out argumentative over things. I'm /hoping/ (all of these // is because it's a large hope) that people will settle down over it all. Also because I've had emails from parents wanting to expose us as Child corruption from their view of the timeline, sadly I don't fancy a solicitor letter even if they don't have anything on us. And if I have one of the emails I will prove it for you all, that's if I sitll have them

@mrdragon One thing that ought to help is the eventual move to SN 1.0, since it actually has a PM system worth a damn - 0.9's doesn't even support conversation threading, whereas 1.0 supports private messages that are functionally identical to regular dashes, except... well, private. Hopefully the better system will make people less averse to taking things over to PMs when it goes outside of what the rules permit - I know I currently don't like to resort to the hassle of PMing someone unless it's blatantly obvious that the subject is not suitable for the public timeline.

@comradeconventrix Ah, the MS discussion. Yeah, I caught the tail-end of that. It's... a tricky subject. On a purely technical level, drawing such material _is_ acting on pedophilia, but on the other hand, as it's not harming any actual person, and it's preferable (by a long way) to straight-up child porn, I'd consider it a greyer subject. I still wish MS didn't draw it, but I'm not gonna dismiss him entirely on the grounds of that alone.

@pony He has a really nice art style. Can't say I have much of an interest in his NSFW stuff, and like I said, the NSFW humanized foal art just does not sit well with me at all, but his art style in general is still pretty good.
