      1. @ceruleanspark Brother in case you are curious why i am interested in both Kindle and Nexus 7, it's because the nexus 7 is the first fantastic android tablet, and at the price it's at, it meanas i can have a dedicated reading device seperate to the rest of my media stuff :3. I'd get an iPad if i hear news of a new iPad around september though, as long as the improvement is substantial

        2. @cavatina Apple doesn't do "Substantial" improvement, so the Nexus 7 seems like your best bet.

          1. @ceruleanspark Nonononono, i mean substantial like...well...cosmetic ^^;, like in case a form factor changes, or even if it goes proper quad core, idk really. What do you think of the NX7 though? just curious. Since it runs the first _finished_ version of android IMO.

            1. @cavatina I'm impressed. My friend in Canada just ordered one (He uses a kindle as a separate reading device too, actually), so I'll be interested to hear how he gets on with it.

              1. @ceruleanspark Woo! I was sold as soon as i heard google has finished perfecting the UI smoothness...triple buffering, vsync'd and the like. Thats what iOS has and now android does too. Also they did one thing which i think they should pat themselves on the back for,

                1. @cavatina It's honestly the first Android device since I quit Android that has held my attention in any meaningful way.

                2. @cavatina Honestly, even as someone who's generally an Android supporter, I'm a little worried that those weren't things they were doing before. Still, now they're present, it's not so bad, I guess. :/

                  1. @bitshift It's been a bit odd, but i think they've been focused too much on being on the cutting edge, ahead of iOS...now they've managed that i guess they can focus on consumer appeal

                    1. @cavatina >ahead of iOS >Managed that >Ohoho

                      1. @ceruleanspark Dude, i dont care if you are trolling, but even Froyo was ahead of iOS 5 in terms of functionality, maybe not elegancy. But they are working on that~ (i like iOS, dont judge.)

              2. @ceruleanspark I'm gonna wait until I get a chance to actually play with one, before I fully pass judgment, but a Nexus 7 is certainly looking like an attractive option right now.

              3. @ceruleanspark GOOGLE KILLED THE FUGLY TABLET UI :D, and made it an adapted phone UI, like iOS does...it means apps will adapt easier too. So this is the first "Complete" version of android to me, for that reason. Hope that makes sense.

                2. @cavatina I'm gonna say I still don't like the look they've gone for.

                  1. @ceruleanspark It's better than that chunky status bar at the bottom though, it was really un-intuitive in my opinion. Hopefully app dev's will have more control over the On screen buttons now though.
