@hoit21 BYES!!!
-
@hoit21 PILLS HERE
-
@hoit21 Horse!
-
@hoit21 xD
-
@hoit21 I was being Ellis. :3
-
@hoit21 Nopes. Always wanted to play those though, but never had money for online connections/memberships whatnot. I'd probably suck at it though since even the newer Resident Evils are too fast for me.
-
@hoit21 But yeah, it's pretty much the best thing about Nick and Ellis. When they see the horse statue, one of the possible exchanges is "Horse!" "Nice observation, Ellis." with that second line being delivered in the best deadpan imaginable.
-
@hoit21 I did disown the RE franchise over RE5 though. e_e No money from me, monsters! *shakes fangirl fist* Also, yes. Zombies! *o*
-
@hoit21 Wait, no way? I suppose you have to have a good connection though, eh?
-
@hoit21 It... it says dell and is skinny...? I'm computter illiterate. >o< Cheapest thing I could find. Graphics suck appearantly
-
@imjustme Probably an Inspiron. Not bad, but yea... not much of a GPU.
-
@eaglehooves Oooh that word sounds familiar! I bet it is.
-
@imjustme My dad has one. Not a bad machine if you're not a gamer.
-
@eaglehooves Pretty much nothing is a bad machine if your not a gamer.
-
@hoit21 pity that.
-
@techdisk42 Well, there's some cheap-as-dirt stuff that seems engineered to break the day after the warranty ends...
-
@eaglehooves My laptop actually broke _before_ the warranty ended. And then I haven't had any problems with it since getting it repaired... aside from one or two blue-screens. :E
-
@hoit21 Yay! *loads you with hats* doble double wibble wouble
-
@redenchilada My older laptop broke within a year of buying it, my newest oe broke within a year of buying it, and both have bluescreened. (my newest bluescreening the FIRST DAY i turned it on.) of course, my newest one is stable now, while my old one continues to deteriorate. (well, at least windows does. Ubuntu is as light and chipper as ever,)
-
@redenchilada That's unfortunate. At least when they break under warranty you can do something. Someone I work with was quoted more for an out-of-warranty repair than the laptop cost new once.
-
@techdisk42 Both were in warranty and both were sent for repairs. The sony one (newest) never had a problem since. The gateway (older) broke even more afterward. Out of four usb ports on that thing, only one works.
-
@eaglehooves Yup. Half the hinge had been split open since May, and in December the screen finally gave up. Had it back some time in January or February in good working order, but now some of the USB ports are having issues...
-
@redenchilada Good hinges are hard to find. I like the ones on the Thinkpad, Latitude, and Precision, but those are all expensive-as-buck machines.
