    gnusocial is doing this weird thing where they're calling Mastodon the "pile of Ruby garbage". I'm not sure what this does outside of:
    1. Take up more characters
    2. Confuse people

    Maybe the intention is to take away the power of the brand name, but if everyone knows what you're talking about - why not just say Mastodon? It's not like it's going to cease existing if you don't name it.
