    1. @kzimmermann OTR requires you to be online while communicating. OMEMO doesn't. If the "smartphone mindset" is to be "always online", then OTR is the forerunner .)

      1. @mmn being able to become incommunicable should be part of the user choice. Lots of messengers (Signal, whatsapp) disregard this.
