      @mrsconventrix A distro is a version of Linux, basically. There are multiple different distros of Linux that do things differently and appeal to different people.

      @mrsconventrix Linux is very modular, everything is a program. And with that I mean, everything. Because of this, there are many distributions (also named distros). Each distro has their own default collection of software, defining how that particular distro looks and feels like. (The customisation can go really deep, for example: Ubuntu ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ubuntu_(operating_system) ) and Linux Deepin (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux_Deepin) look and feel quite different).
