@widget There's no coincidence- it's the same group of people. They were forced out of the bronycon staff and decided to start their own con. That con is Canterlot Gardens.

@widget Not much for me, but we (both me and Forest) were able to pull a lot of strings to get me in basically free. I did a quick calculation for Canterlot Gardens and it comes up to about 700$ to get there and back and pay for rooms and such, so that could be used as a worst-case scenario idea I guess.

@widget @minti @redenchilada The people running it are the group that were attacking purpletinker. And at least one of them is a thief who stole a bunch of money from her. That's what I remember off the top of my head, I'd have to go digging through purpletinker's tweets to recall the rest of it; there's plenty more though.

@toksyuryel Yep, I know the story behind it all. Not going to affect my decision which is basically "If I'm able to, I'll go.". No offence to PT but I'm not going to let a grudge hold me back from meeting many amazing people.
