@glitter My problems are these:
1. Even if I make a new friend, it's most likely that they'll never reply when I contact them after the fact, and they never reach out to me.
2. The folks who claim to be my friends IRL never want to make time to hang out if I ask about tomorrow, a week from then, or months from then. I've tried multiple different lengths of "in advance" with many people.
3. And for those who do claim to be able to make time: http://u.daggsy.com/Q7
Still pretty sure I'm cursed.-
Still seeing #1 happening. It's funny how excited people are when they meet someone, yet they never feel the need to contact them nor reply to contact they receive from the person again afterward.

And people wonder why I don't appreciate it when they tell me to "make new friends."
How many decades do they think I should try before giving up?-

A pretty good reminder that the only people who want to spend time with me are those who haven't ever done so before.

@takebananaakenji at least there are a ton of new people, imagine only people who know you wanting to spend time with you and they eventually all die
-
@eris I already have that too: my parents. They're the only people who both know me well and are delighted when I visit, but they're in their sixties now.
-
@eris I'm pretty sure I'll never end up meeting any of the people on GS who want to see me.
-
@takemangoakenji i'll just accost random bicycles in the seattle area until I find you
-
@eris Good luck.
