urg... I don't want to buy borderlands on steam, but to buy all the dlc for my disc copy would cost 40$... and the whole goty edition on steam is only 14.95....

@communistprime I know... But I don't want to deal with all the online crap when I play borderlands... Oh well, I'm looking into how to transfer my saves... If I can transfer them I might as well buy it while it's on sale....

@communistprime I mean where I can't play it if my internet suddenly goes out, because apparently you need an internet connection to put steam in offline mode.

@aeniug2 You just put it in offline mode BEFORE you restart it. I've done it before, but if it launches in online mode while you have no connection you're in trouble.

@communistprime Therein lies my problem. I frequently find myself at the mercy of my family, as then attempt to "fix the internet" because it "wasn't working right"
