      @ecmc Hey, at least it's still faster than my sister's install (she bought it on the flash sale, too) - she is downloading over a tethered mobile connection (thankfully one without a download cap, but it's still not fast). At something like 30% now, I believe.

          @minti I'm actually tempted to see if I can bridge the network from my computer (picks up our house's wifi fine) to hers (lacks wifi, but _does_ have ethernet) to speed it up a little.

        @bitshift What speed would that be? Mine's downloading at an average of 100kb/s... i thought that was pretty bad.

            @purplephish20 Man would I love to have a less outdated download speed. I think the fastest we've ever had from home is around 200kb/s, and that was only for a short period of time.

          @ecmc It varies, but if it's anywhere close to mine (and it's the same handset on the same carrier, so that seems likely), typical speed of ~80kb/s with very rare peaks of up to ~200kb/s. It's not completely terrible, but obviously it's still not going to be fast when the game in question is nearly 10GB.

            @bitshift That's pretty much the same as my internet then. Except mine will very rarely go higher the 150kb/s
