      @hakui I find it really weird that the issue is only with FZP and SLC, and I'm starting to wonder if there's some sort of block in place from this side from the very early days when FZP was much more... wild than it is today.

        @nerthos @hakui FZP and SLC have some very strange federation problems that are probably a result of their "optimizations".

            @nerthos They've had federation problems since before I blocked them.  To be honest and forthright, I was kind of glad when that whole loli thing happened because however much they grapeed about the block I wouldn't have to keep fixing federation problems they seemed to cause themselves.

            Little did I know that was but a shadow of the bullcherry Mastodon would bring.

              @maiyannah Like in any comic book another baddie always shows up. Nowadays I agree with hakui in that Mastodon would be better off seceding from the old fediverse and having it's own network, with it's own standards. They'd have their safe space and the admins on this side wouldn't have to deal with the issues their weird standard breaking brings.

                @nerthos @maiyannah They can't do that, they'd be left with only themselves to turn on.

                They want their safe space but more important that that is that the space enables them to persecute but not completely eliminate the enemy of the month.

                Gargamel prolly understands this, s'why he drags his heels so hard but the papayas who don't and believe in their need for a perfect sanctuary are getting kiwied that he's not doing enough to build a wall and make the fediverse pay for it.
