people usually regret wasting time on games when they were kids but i don't
because when you get old you don't even have time to waste (not that it keeps you from doing that, but-
@hakui Eh, it makes no sense to regret "wasting" time on games. It's one of the most fun things to do as a kid, and at that point of your life what matters is having fun. So if you enjoyed those games it's not wasted time.

I agree. As a child, it is important to be playful... games are one form of play. It helps with development.-

@hakui @sim I made my grandfather freak out once by rushing across the main street on my bike when I was like 5 and had gotten a new, faster bike haha.

@hakui @sim I still own that bike. That time I just sped through the half block between my house and the main street and since I didn't want to stop going fast I went straight through it, dodging a few cars and a bus.
My only bike accident was when I was racing against a neighbourhood kid, he turned earlier, so I tried to catch on as fast as I could. His sister jumped into the "track" when he passed through the checkpoint and I rammed into her quite fast. The front wheel got bent and I flew forward. The options were to crash against her, a tree, or an iron fence so yeah.
I also once stopped near the uuh... whatever the little trench next to the street for water to run is called? but the front wheel slid into the hole and I flipped over and ended up lying on my back in the hole, still grabbing the handlebar of the parked bike. That one was more funny than anything though, didn't hurt.Tuesday, 21-Feb-17 03:04:57 UTC from web
