      1. @nerthos Basically he wanted me to help him interface a login thing but he wanted to pass credentials unencrypted.  I told him oauth is the way to do a proper login for an app in GNU social or postActiv and he didn't like that.

        1. @archaeme @nerthos In a day where there's quite a few different ways to easily do secure login systems without transmitting passwords unencrypted there really isn't an excuse for it.
