    2. @gameragodzilla Why would someone want to drop moon rocks anyway? The moon's too far away and has gravity. Better to use metal poles from low orbit.

        1. @gameragodzilla It's basically the same as shooting a railgun just gravity operated. And the aerodynamic profile of a rod means less loss of mass due to entering the atmosphere and all that. Less required mass for the same impact.
