Nintendo Switch is probably going to be kind of naff. I don't know why there's all this hype for it after the Vita's limp-wristed showing.

nothing ive seen so far i like the look of, and im generally a lot more into nintendo games than a lot i know are.
the new zelda looks really meh to me, and i generally like zelda (okay i lie i like toon link)
the new mario looks like it has no idea why people liked galaxy but is trying to copy it anyways
and admittedly i hardly remember other things to mention them anyways-
@katiekats People always get hyped up about new Nintendo Consoles even though the WiiU was just "ok" (and mostly a marketing failure) and every cross-platform game on the Vita was objectively better on every other platform it was on.

definitely agree on wii u, agree on vita too but not sure on relevance to nintendo and feel ive really missed something with how exhausted i am?-
@katiekats Well the whole point I was making is their last two consoles weren't that great so Im not sure why people are hyped for the new one.

ah, tis no worries, just wanted to confirm.
the wii at the very least had some decent games on it, in comparison to wii u. which...i hardly remember really (unless one counts a hd re-release cos i like wind waker, which i dont personally count as the wii u having its own thing cos well, re-release)
thats probably the big thing with the switch, if it can pull off the games, so far i wouldnt say it looks it-
@katiekats The specs they released seem comparatively weak even to the vita which is probably where my tired and sick mind was tripping up there

@katiekats Wii was good. All of GC plus a bunch of fun stuff on it's own.

It's more, I didn't think you were about to tell me a console is good on its own because of games it took from -another earlier console- in the -same thread- I said I don't count the Wind Waker re-release a game the Wii U should be praised for, as it's gamecube first.
But apparently yes.

@katiekats Oh, no idea, I wasn't saying it meant the consoles' catalog was good because of GC titles, just that to me the wii was worth it in big part because it could play GC games, and I didn't have one of those. It was just a really good extra in my opinion.

@katiekats Back when the GC was the latest nintendo console I wanted one, but obviously I was a kid so I didn't have a job to buy one.
