  1. The thing that people haven't been mentioning about the Ryzen benchmarks is pretty much any one actually relevant to gaming it loses on.

    1. @maiyannah If it's back to the classic situation, then the edge intel would give will about double the costs, so in my opinion it's irrelevant as you don't really need the very very best to run the newest games in ultra. I'd do it in 2011 with a $1200 computer so I don't see a point in spending $6000 at any point for a small boost in performance.

      1. @nerthos You can get an Intel chip better than most Ryzens for less than 100$ now, so this is pretty much a moot point.

    2. People are so desperate for a competitor to Intel they've been pretty much willing to blithely accept mediocre offerings that have the same shortcomings as Intel.
