        @cavatina @greydragon412 right that's the one I'm using. Its best for beginners and lazy folk like me, still it doesn't do everything Windows does. *shrugpony

            @cavatina yes I'm impressed with their Wubi installer, but it's far more temperamental than a clean install on a proper partition rather than a windows partition.

                @cavatina yep. :) Wubi is their official Windows intaller. Installs it sidelong next to windows, and it can be uninstalled easily. You're given the option of which OS to boot at startup

                    @cavatina right, yes. That's the better way. Now that I've experienced it again, I'm tempted to repartition and install it properly.

                      @pony It's actually super easy now, you just pick how much space you want ubuntu to have/take from the windows install, unless theres an empty partition it can reside in ^.^, it does require you doing windows startup repair though, but nothing gets damaged ^.^

                        @cavatina You still need to boot from a CD and stuff though. Wubi installs inside Windows. It's magic. MAGIC I TELLS YOU.

                          @pony Nonono, you can just tell it in it's own installer "Install alongside windows", and it just shows you a partition slider, so you can decide how much space it gets ^.^. It even lets you pull in user data :3

                              @pony Hehe, as i said they've made ubuntu super easy to install now! But as i said, it confuses windows so you gotta do a startup repair, but nothing is damaged ^.^

                  @pony @cavatina It's suppose to be for Windows users who wish to "Try" Linux out but yeah. It installs Linux as a program.
