      @thatonepony Most OC's are objectively terrible though. Same with fursonas, or any other sort of user customisable avatar. The original concept is all too frequently abandoned in a fit of "look how original CREATIVE (rainbows) my character is!"

      @silverfeather I don't mind my blue unicorn fitting into the crowd. From my point of view, having someone say your OC would make a good background pony is a compliment because it means you captured the feel of the setting.
