@keithpp #Mastodon is only one of many apps connected to this network. I use #Quitter, which runs on #GNUSocial and #Qvitter, not Mastodon
@keithpp it's a bit more Twitter-like, and if you don't like the way #Mastodon is laid out, you may prefer it
@keithpp also, #Mastodon is free code, if you suggest improvements to the devs (more specific than "make it less crap") they may well happen
@keithpp the #Mastodon devs and other free code devs are *much* more likely to listen to and respond to your feedback than Ev Williams
