    @webmind To be specific, it federates with servers supporting OStatus - Qvitter is an interface for GNUSocial. But there are a few other efforts towards servers/web interfaces supporting OStatus, like # @lambadalambda do you happen to know if Mastodon can get feeds from Diaspora like GNUSocial can?

      @csaurus @webmind No it can't, Mastodon doesn't subscribe to feeds when the author doesn't have an OStatus-style "magic-public-key" for salmons.
