@iluvzfluttershy They're fairly solid. Make sure you get a decent one, like a Tokyo Marui or a Classic Army model. The market got flooded a couple of years back with cheap chinese knockoffs that fall apart as soon as you rough them up a bit.

@iluvzfluttershy Yeah. They're expensive, but they do last. Of the guns my friend has used as rentals at his airsoft site, the AK's last the longest without needing repairs. If you get a metal one, you can also bolt accessories intended for real guns, like laser sights or scopes onto the frame.
