when people get split on the morality of sex in society, there's some major differences in world views and understanding certain things
on one hand you have people who believe it's mostly just a recreational activity, a way to have fun as a human, maybe have kids if you feel like it, anything else is just conservatives being authoritarian or fundies being crazy
then you have people who understand that you need children to keep your civilization alive, who understand the primary purpose of sex is to procreate, who understand that promiscuity has psychological impact on people that affects their capability for commitment, who understand that you need stable households to raise those children in (state mandated education isn't good enough, single mothers aren't good enough) https://appleposter.club/attachment/666772- RDN's Lucifer likes this.

@delores well ye only talking about 1st world where we've had stable civilization, but not necessarily left/right, where I live there is really no clear left/right topics like this. just more about how I see the different ends of view on sex and how it has or doesn't have moral components and a bigger impact on the society

@shpuld stable? the 1st world is held together by the ignorance of the western people tbqhfam. you're stuck on a spectrum where things are either good, bad, or somewhere in between

@delores stable relatively, no shortage of vital resources and good security, I don't actually believe it's very stable absolutely with the current direction of things.

@shpuld In short on a side you have teenagers and on the other you have adults. Some don't ever make it past 15 mentally.
