@anarchycarcino They're extremely similar, but ponies aren't horses- they're smaller, but even a full-grown pony is still a pony, and not a horse.

@alicornonthecob Maybe they just havent developed the word 'horse' yet. Just like how they don'g have any oppressive creeds or dogmas beyond Hail Celestia.
