@mayel @mattcropp Separating federation support into its own Gem, with plugins for each standard (eg #Ostatus), might help tidy up such bugs
@mayel @mattcropp another benefit of doing is that the Gem could be shared by any Ruby on Rails app that wants to federate with other apps
