@pony zark was random, bigponymac was talented, loak had a silly obsession with balloons. They were all just generally cool, nice, down-to-earth people.

@noirbatch Eh. Been really down the past day or two and I can't seem to apply for college here because lack of attention span. Could always be worse, though. How about yourself?

@abigpony I come here a few times a day. I just jump into conversations that interest me or when I feel the need to respond to something. Most of the time I can't devote any time to keeping up with conversations here. Other times I'm on skype with Zark and others.

@noirbatch Goldenwest Community College. Art classes. The process to sign up is just so long it's annoying.

@noirbatch I'm stuck on the last question. I want to transfer to an art school sooner than later, but at the same time I'd like to go through a good, solid school curriculum. It's racking my mind.

@noirbatch Well I either sign up for 4 years or I sign up for certain classes. I did not sign up for the basics. I just applied for the most basic art classes so I build a base so i don't get TOO MUCH overlap once I move on to an art school.

@abigpony Oh I see, well if you are able to transfer credits to the one you want to go to... Well I would take that route for more structure.

@noirbatch That's the thing is that the art school won't tell me if the classes transfer or not and the school covers the basics themselves. Even if these starter art classes I'll be taking at community don't transfer or whatever, I'm covered once I go there.

@abigpony Yeah, no. It's pretty bad. My drawing abilities and style are completely different now than they were when I made it. It makes me cringe when I look at it.

@abigpony Every artist has those projects or scraps that they'll never want to see the light of day. My animation is one of mine. I did however make an illustrated story that I never put up.

@bigponymac Post all your stuff. Never be ashamed of your work. They're all steps in your life so you can at elast signify your own progress.

@abigpony I don't think an artist should have to post EVERYTHING. There are some things that need to be kept hidden and used as a personal learning experience.

@abigpony Nothing that I work on for a while. Most of the stuff I post are done in one day out of boredom.

@bigponymac But why not post it? You're showing the world that you're progressing. Some people may like it. The way I see it is as long as it's complete, it should be posted to a source with standards you believe it matches.

@noirbatch Every now and then I'll get caught up in work, but I never get much done even then. I'm always stuck in the "glass half-empty" mentality.

@abigpony If you don't want to picture it half full, just drink the damn water in the glass. Seems to work a lot.

@noirbatch Well then I have no water. There's no reason to work at that point. You have nothing to work on.

@abigpony But the completed projects I'm withholding are not up to my personal standards. They have to reach a certain quality or sense of completeness before I decide to show it off. I don't want to display anything unless I know I put every ounce of effort and my ability possible into it.

@abigpony Well each project is the water in the glass. I meant get it done, and you will feel better than just staring at the glass wondering if it is half full or empty.

@abigpony Well awesome artwork there, and you seem to know what you are doing with what you want. So just start finishing projects.

@abigpony Again, all it takes is one action. Just sit down and get to work. All I am saying. You can sit there and say I should get it done, but in the time you spend thinking about it you could be done with one project. Sorry for the rant, I tend to do this a lot. From what I can tell (I have never seen your work) You have your head on straight when it comes to art. You are the only one here who gives me constructive criticism. It is intelligent, and concise. I am just saying, if you put some effort towards it. You will have a damn good portfolio.
