  1. Is it sad that the highlights of my week are when my mom throws sharp objects at me at 4 in the morning?

    1. @abigpony depends on the reason.

      1. @lunacymambo i said i would go to bed soon and she thought i yelled at her when i didn't and i refused to apologize. It's something new every other day or so, though.

        1. @abigpony My mom gets crazy like that sometimes, it's usually due to new medication.

          1. @tara this one time, i forgot to do something, so she threw a vaccuum at me.

            1. @abigpony Yeesh, what's she doing to treat her symptoms? Seeing any doctors?

              1. @tara what symptoms? She doesn't have a disease or anything, she's just... Like that sometimes

                1. @abigpony Those huge mood swings can very well be symptoms for psychological disorders. You know, like Bipolar Disorder for example.

                  1. @tara maybe they are. We aren't fans of pqyong for a doctor's visit and she always denies she does these things the next day so until i move out, it's alright.

                    1. @abigpony Well, that's very selfish and immature of her to force her son to go through that and not even admit to it or even TRY to see a professional about the symptoms. =/ Oh well, at least you'll eventually get a place of your own and wont have to deal with it anymore. Although why not consider living with a family member or friend for a while?

                      1. @tara dad has no room in his apartment and no nearby family otherwise. To be fair, she's pretty much a great mother until nighttime.

                        1. @abigpony If it's something that you can take, then alright. But keep in mind that a lot of people in your situation would probably not be able to emotionally take that kind of abuse from their mother. I'd personally rather live on someone's couch in their living room rather than take abuse from my own mom on a nightly basis, but I'm also an emotional person I guess. You say that she's great during the day though, so maybe you can find a way to have a 1 on 1 chat with her if it ever starts to seem like too much for you? Of course, I'm assuming you haven't tried that yet.
