  1. @sir Macs may support GTK but not smoothly. Cocoa ports are better, but an identical GUI on any platform with a browser would be better

      1. @strypey # users are typically unaware of how much of their painstakingly-acquired [free|nag|ad]ware has equivalent functionality integrated into #/Linux default desktop installs. Once somebody told me they just needed to find a replacement for Nero CD burner and Winamp

        1. But why are they so confused @mjd? Perhaps because the UX of most free code apps aimed at end user is still so poor (or absent)?

          1. @mjd or because they can't use the same UI on Windows, as ports are so much work, something doing UI as in-browser HTML/CSS could help with
