Holy crap it's Thursday. I don't even remember the last productive thing I thought about.
-
@retl right there with ya. It's been such a lazy unproductive week at work... the whole thing is one slow foggy blur.
-
@princessluna I had to switch from coffee to tea, ran out of coffee filters and deuterium...
-
@colfax a temporary detour for you, i'm sure. ;)
-
@princessluna Well, it'd be better if I had some strontium and cobalt, but I can make do, just add more sugar.

@abigpony Yeah, I suppose so. But for the most part I've been consistent about getting at least a thing or two drawn each week. This week it was like POOF week is over

@abigpony At least one of my friends I kinda look up to balances a weekly webcomic update with the craziness of living in general and a thankless job, sooo, I never really complain. I keep wanting to keep up with them, and wondering if I'll ever have a rival-in-art or something. I think I'm funneling my interests into something too niche to be healthy, though. The other thing is that I used to want to be an animator, so I feel like I'm being lazy when I don't have at least 5 things to show for a week. Kinda. Though some weeks, I just plain don't care. I guess it's a mood thing.

@retl That's kinda how I am right now. I'm trying to be a lot more productive, so I'm constantly doing the EQ Daily challenges ,just to keep flexing my artistic muscle. And while I'd probably be better off drawings humans every day, ponies at least keep it fun until I establish myself into a good habbit and routine.
-
@princessluna Dunno if I'd really say drawing humans every day is really better, so much as practicing at whatever you think you'll ever draw again / derive from/ want to understand to mutilate into something else is good to practice at. Since we're practicing ponies, it makes us a bit better at drawing ponies and things that look kinda like ponies that aren't... In theory. It kinda depends on the effectiveness of the practice and how much we analyse in the process.
