What a shame !glitch is offline, I was just starting to enjoy the game (with the exception of meat, guess I'm giving that to "Friendly", I don't want that anyway =/)

@omni In that case you'll probably want to go into the Arbology skills then and eat eggs. Although it should be noted that the meat you get in the game does not come from dead animals but is freely given by living ones at no apparent discomfort to them. You said before that you'd be perfectly comfortable with in vitro meat, and I see this as being rather similar to that in concept (as in, meat that isn't the product of suffering and death).

@toksyuryel If I recall correctly, I said that I am fine with the concept, but wouldn't ever eat it myself. Arbology? Thanks for that tip! And I know the pigs don't get killed but... in a way, it's still somewhat disturbing to me...

@omni You'll need to pair it with the Light Green Thumb skills as well so that the trees stop insulting you. But yeah, with good Arbology skill egg trees are quite efficient at providing you with more than enough food to subsist on. If you want, I can compile a list of all the food items in the game which contain meat if you'd like to avoid eating them.

@toksyuryel Although, I guess if I made a throwaway alt (shh, don't tell stoot) to experiment with early-game vegetarianism, I could write up what I found to be a challenge. That would probably be easier to write. Maybe even identify points where if the devs are feeling generous, they could stand to add more non-meat options.
