                  @nixter Here in lies the problem, it could be a passable game under a different IP, or a completely new IP. I've a nice (and somewhat outdated list) of reasons why this is a bad move for Devil May Cry.

                  @dariusponyperson Heavenly Sword was okay. Enslaved was crap. It's not just Ninja Theory's fault, it's Capcom's, they thought this was a good idea. It's not. On top of that they are slowing down the game, making Dante more selfish as a protagonist, removing styles (Thus eliminating tournaments), And Tameem is just a bananas in general. Capcom is more to blame than Ninja Theory.

                    @anarchycarcino I'm still looking forward to the game in some respect because I like how colorful the game is and the art design to me looks interesting the combat is up for debate but I would agree that better action games are coming out next year like MG rising and castlevania lords of shadow 2 but that is just my thoughts

                      @dariusponyperson If you've played any of the past Devil May Cry games get ready for a sluggish display. They cut the framerate in half, locking it at 30fps along with using the Unreal 3 engine. Bad choices because Unreal is meant for shooters, and in turn has a lot of 'Bloon and gloom' looks to it. Less enemies can also be shown on screen at time than normal.
